This document outlines a vision for a network of Community Wellbeing Centers (CWCs) throughout Auckland, New Zealand to promote planetary wellbeing at the community level. It proposes that existing community centers and houses could be transformed into CWCs, which would be run by local communities, prioritize community needs and participation, and facilitate activities and resources to empower communities and improve wellbeing. The goal is to start small with a trial CWC in Orakei and expand gradually throughout Auckland and potentially worldwide to form a global planetary wellbeing network.

The Planetary Health Manifesto
Lancet, March 8, 2014
We started with “Planetary Health”, but
realized we needed a new concept of health
We urgently need a concept of
health that … emphasises the
connectedness of each of us to each
other.

He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tangata! He tangata! He tangata!
What is the most important thing in the world?
