This document provides specifications for calculating fabric sizes for a 3D tension fabric system (3DTFS). It includes formulas for determining the silicone line size and beam/post lengths based on the overall external frame size for different 3DTFS configurations, including square ends to external/internal corners, internal/external 3D to internal/external 3D, and height. The specifications are needed because 3DTFS requires a different approach than standard tension fabric systems. Contact the fabric supplier for their specific formulas.

3d TFS is different from standard TFS, and requires a
different specification to standard TFS. The following
drawings show how you specify the SILICONE LINE
of 3d TFS.
All fabric suppliers use different formulas. Please consult with your
chosen supplier as to how they work out the final fabric size.
