John Biebel joined Bank Leumi USA as an intern this past summer. John was assigned to the Business
Solutions Group during his internship with the Bank. The Business Solutions team is responsible for
interfacing between the IT system's business user community and the Technology Department. The
Bank had recently completed a core systems conversion in May, so John joined our team during a period
of intense activity. John was able to participate in meetings with the various business departments in
the bank and witness firsthand how to manage change. He was involved in many different tasks within
the Bank and showed an excellent ability to understand both the details of day to day operational work
but also the managerial interactions and liaison efforts between technology and business units. John
was directly involved in several specific projects, including our Deposit Origination application where he
was instrumental in assisting to map required fields within the account opening process and document
workflow and processes. Additionally he was a key team member in the development of the Bank's
Client Relationship /Sales Management application. He became proficient in his use and understanding
of the application and was directly involved in requirement gathering sessions with Senior Executives to
expand the Bank's CRM platform.
Throughout the summer Jack willingly accepted various different tasks and assignments. He completed
all requests both timely and effectively. In the relatively short period of time of his internship, Jack
contributions to the Business Solutions team were significant and valued.
