BEFORE UIFI
To get the most out of the UIFI experience, there are a few things to do before attending.
Prior to UIFI:
 Make your travel plans and complete the travel form here.
 Review all UIFI materials (prior to UIFI, you will receive a packet of materials that will help
you prepare for the experience)
 Participate in the UIFI pre survey (to be emailed soon).
 Talk with your peers and mentors about your upcoming experience. Specifically, you should:
 Meet with your fraternity/sorority advisor to discuss your upcoming attendance and how
you can maximize your experience, and what they might believe are the most important
things to think about for your chapter, council, and community
 Have a similar conversation with other leaders in your chapter and community as well as
with your chapter advisor
 Reflect on what you want for the future of your chapter, council, and community. Give
yourself permission to be honest about the real challenges that may be keeping your chapter,
council, and community from achieving its potential.
