Worked for 8 years at PARQUE EXPO’98, SA, the company created to design, implement and
promote the international exhibition Expo'98 in Lisbon. In phase 1 worked on the development of
the urban areas surrounding the exhibition precinct, 360ha divided in 5 detailed urban plans.
Following the implementation of the urban plans, phase 2 concerned the maintenance of the
public spaces which had been built. Finally, in phase 3 of her work at PARQUE EXPO’98, SA,
was responsible for the Project Management of the real estate and urban planning development
projects promoted by the company, both at home and abroad.
In 2008 founded OSCHOA ARQUITECTOS where she has worked since then as a Managing
Partner doing the Program and Project management, as well as developing projects of interior
design, architecture, public space and urbanism, and offering technical advisory services to
various institutional clients and individuals.

As PRO-BONO work, developed an architecture project for a hygiene and public health school in
Manhiça, and the design, implementation and maintenance of a playground space into the
pediatrics department of the Maputo’s hospital, both in Mozambique; she also worked for 6 month
as a volunteer in the Shelter Department of the International Federation of the Red Cross and the
Red Crescent Societies in Geneva, Switzerland.
Owner and Manager of the architectural office OSCHOA Arquitectos which develops projects of
interior design, architecture, public spaces and urbanism, as well as being involved in works and
offering technical advisory services to various institutional clients and individuals including:
- Architectural Project for 2 new houses in Maputo, Mozambique, for MM Arquitetos;

Whilst in Mozambique, undertook various projects in a self-employed capacity and also developed
some pro-bono projects which contributed to the community:

Designed a play area for the children of the Pediatric Service of Maputo’s Central Hospital in
Mozambique responsible for the implementation of the project (designing, fund raising,
implementing and maintaining the area (with Dr. Chiara Hunt, MD);
Technical support to the NGDO “Gabinete de Estudos e Projectos de Cooperação” (member of
APCD – Portuguese Association for Culture and Development), concerning two projects in
Manhiça, Mozambique, namely a Public Library and a Primary School;
Worked on the staff of the PARQUE EXPO 98’SA organization, namely:
Joined the Business Development Department, within the Urban Promotion Business Division and
was responsible for coordinating viability studies for urban renewal projects, taking into account
the analysis of the urban capacity, the duration of the operation, the financial structure, the legal
framework, the market and all other variable parameters of this type of operation; also took
responsibility for the project management of the operations that went forward.
Joined the Project Department, of the Urban Management Business Division. As head of the
department coordinated a team of 5 architects responsible for the maintenance of public areas
within Parque das Nações (which corresponds to the total area where the Urbanization Plan for
the world Exposition 1998 was implemented and where the exposition took place covering 370
hectares, including 5 km of river front property on the Tagus River estuary);
Joined the Division of Urban Planning and Management as part of the technical team that dealt
with the implementation and revision of the Expo’98 Urban Plan – 360ha – and which developed
architectural projects and public spaces such as the upper and transition zones of the Detailed
