Why We Sometimes Don't Make a Choice
Executive Coach - Who do You want to be Known
as...LinkedIn Publisher, Member of Boss Whispering Institute,
Author
It's not often that Nature shares a personal surprise of beauty
with us individually. That's what happened yesterday morning,
when I saw the above beauty stretched out on my car. I don't
know what time the frost began to form during the night; it
was clear to me it was before 6 o'clock in the morning. Instead
of rushing to scrap off the frost, I made a choice to
photograph different views of each pattern of frost. Granted
2. it was a quick choice - yet it set the tone for the balance of
my day - to see the goodness in situations that otherwise might
have peaked a trigger.
Philosopher Tom V. Morris shares quick insights on the issue
of choice that gives food for thought as follows: "Choice
always happens on the razor's edge of potential."
"Choice is the voice through which we speak to the world."
"Give yourself time to ponder today. Working harder or faster
won't help you if you are not aligned with your top priorities."
"Awareness is leverage. Awareness is power." And finally,
"Remember: A slow climb beats a fast fail any day."
As You Choose Who You Want to be Known As during the last
few days of December, may all your choices bring goodness in
your career path.
