 Upper attachment shows variations

16. BULLA ETHMOIDALIS
 Ethmoidal cell situated behind the uncinate
process
 Sepatated posteriorly from ground lamella by
retrobullar recess
 Occasionally does not reach skull base
(suprabullar recess)
 Supra+retro= sinus lateralis of gurnwald

17.  Semilunar groove : hiatus semilunaris
 3D space : infundibulum
 Key area or osteomeatal unit:
uncinate+bulla+intervening infundibulum

19. SUPERIOR TURBINATE
 Ethmoturbinal
 Sup. Meatus : post ethmoidal cells
