there’s nowhere to hide when confronted with new and
differing ideas and opinions. Engaging one-on-one with
professors, these self-starters tackle multiple independent
projects, carrying their own research and creative work
from concept to completion to critique—right from the first
year. Across the curriculum, Sarah Lawrence students write
extensively, learning to clearly organize and express their
thoughts. And in every course, our undergrads are evaluated
against real-world criteria, resulting in written and verbal
reviews that emphasize continuous improvement.
