Jim Hargrave III has been one of the founders of the Okapi framework and an active developer since day
one. He has been instrumental in designing and coding many parts of the framework. His experience
encompasses every aspects of the framework, from the filters to the steps, the pipeline to the
connectors, as well as many modules such the Pensive TM, some aligners, and much more. There is
virtually no area of the framework where he has no experience.
In addition to his Okapi-specific knowledge and skills, Jim has proven himself as a very good designer
and developer, not afraid to explore new technologies, but still in touch with the issues of scalability,
maintainability, and achieving the goals set.
Jim is also quite easy to work with: unselfish, open to the opinion of others while clear with his own. He
is a stable and reliable colleague in a group.
