Dear Jason,
I am writing you to sing the praises of an exceptional young man under your employ, Mr. Jesse
Lee. Four of my groups this summer have had the great fortune to have Jesse guide our Zion
tram tour. My clients never stopped talking about him for the remainder of each of those tours;
many of them mentioning Jesse as one of the top 2-3 highlights of their entire trip through Bryce,
Zion, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.
Some of their actual comments include (and I quote):
"What a phenomenal ambassador of Zion"
"He sure must love his job-- it really shows!"
"I wish I had a grandson like him"
"I wanted to take him home with me"
"I feel as though my soul has been touched by someone very special"
"He ought to be training the park rangers!"
"Man, does that boy have a way with words!"
"Everyone should be so passionate about something as Jesse is about our national park system"
As a Tour Manager for Collette Vacations for almost 10 years, I travel all over the world leading
tours that feature local guides, and I must tell you that among them all, Jesse is right at the top.
He even keeps me on my professional toes! Not only is fun, good-natured, articulate and
incredibly knowledgeable, his youthful exuberance, wonderful sense of humor and sheer passion
for nature is absolutely contagious.
So often in this business you hear more complaints than compliments. That's why when
someone stands out for doing an EXTRAORDINARY job, I believe they should be recognized.
Congratulations on hiring such a gem. Please continue taking good care of and professionally
nurturing Jesse and thank him on behalf of 175+ very impressed Collette passengers. It's the
understatement of the year to say he is a tremendous asset to Xanterra and Zion National Park.
Yours sincerely,
Andrew J. Gyure
