3D Audiences feel involved  Viewers have to wear glasses  Can be poor quality if not filmed with a 3D camera  WT have made one 3D film, Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, but it wasn’t filmed using 3D cameras. Avatar is a major Hollywood 3D film that has been filmed using the appropriate technology.
CGI – Computer Generated Imagery Often used in stunts on a green screen background to make things seems more realistic to the audience. Hot Fuzz and Paul, which are WT films have used CGI to help with effects. The film can be portrayed in a more appealing way to the audience as it makes things seem more real to them 
Cameras In 1999 cameras used for filming changed to digital  The first film released using one of these cameras was ‘Star Wars Episode One Phantom Menace’ since these cameras were made available in the film industry, 3D and silicon cameras have also been introduced.
HD and Blu-Ray HD allows the audience to watch something with a very high quality picture. More time consuming for film makers as they have to make sure the mise en scene is right, but it means an overall higher profit. Blu-Ray is the name of a HD DVD. Not everyone can watch things in HD or on Blu-Ray as special TV's and DVD players are needed that are more expensive.
Editing Software Every film has a form of editing. Editing software gives a smoother end product. It is part of the production process and makes the film a higher quality.
