COMPANY OVERVIEW
RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. was founded by Rodney
Jarrell on February 26, 1997. At its inception, the company’s
entire focus was to perform tenant improvement (T.I.)
electrical work. As the organization has grown, its areas of
expertise have as well.
Although the company will always maintain its share of the T.I. market, today the team works on more
diverse types of electrical projects. These projects include new construction, design build, industrial,
medical facilities, churches, schools, redundant power and distribution/ warehouse. RMJ also has a full
time Service Department. RMJ is always evolving to meet the diverse needs of its clients.
RMJ has undergone steady controlled growth during the first 18 years. RMJ is consistently listed
in the Top 5 of Arizona Business Magazine’s “Ranking Arizona”.
Timely Materials
Through the years we have developed an
excellent relationship with our
distributors, manufacturers and
representatives of the fixtures, switchgear
and electrical materials we need to bring
the jobs in on time and within budget.
Our purchasing department is run by a
very knowledgeable Purchasing Agent
who utilizes the APEX computerized
purchasing system.
Quick Estimating and Budget Pricing
Staying current with technology helps RMJ
budget and price projects quicker. This
expedited pricing for bids and preliminary
budgets provides value to our customer.
We utilize the Accubid Electrical
Estimating system and receive electronic
material updates regularly.
Quality Employees
We only send out knowledgeable (drug tested)
individuals, from helper to foreman. These people
are carefully screened by RMJ to protect our clients.
Quality Supervision
Knowledgeable Foreman and Service Managers that
have worked their way through the trade, supervise
all electrical installations, and stay in direct contact
with the customer. We only hire supervisors who
have excellent reputations with electrical inspectors,
contractors and electrical engineers.
Safety and Training Program:
All employees complete a two hour safety
indoctrination when they are hired. Periodic training
ensures that all field personnel are OSHA 10 hour
certified at a minimum. The National Electrical Code
is taught in-house along with local codes and lessons
learned by our more experienced employees.

Distribution/ Warehouse Projects
5RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Amazon 7:
This 1.2M sq ft project is considered a large product
facility. The schedule was even more aggressive
than Amazon 6. Two shifts, peaking at 41
electricians each, worked with one other electrical
contractor to complete the job in 28 days. RMJ’s
pre-task planning and material handling processes
allowed for a phased move-in.
Amazon 6:
The owner refers to this 1.4M sq ft location as a small sort
facility. Multiple crews worked on the job making logistics
particularly difficult. RMJ worked two shifts of 32 electricians
per shift. As with most current day projects, this one had an
aggressive schedule and challenging budget..
Dick’s Sporting Goods:
This facility, 740K sq ft total, was built in 20 weeks. RMJ was
responsible for the work inside the warehouse and the tenant
improvement. The finishes were unique; every room was
designed to imitate a different sport. The warehouse had a 32’
clear finish height, which is consistent to almost all of the
distribution/warehouse jobs RMJ has wired.
GAP:
This 600K sq ft warehouse has some of the most unique
features RMJ has encountered. All material sorting is
handled by robots (Kiva System); these robots are capable
of charging themselves using their programming to divert
to charging stations. All the wiring in this building was
installed by RMJ, including the owner’s conveyance systems.
ROC C-11 124240
Redundant Power Projects
6RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Humana Dispensing:
RMJ installed an UPS and associated panelboards that
operate in conjunction with an existing gen-set. The new
power source was needed to run a conveyor system that
prepares mail order prescriptions for delivery to Humana
customers. Loss of power to the conveyor system can
affect fulfilling orders and create inventory control
problems. Security was a concern due to the regulation of
products staged in this facility.
Asurion:
This call center was built in an existing 60K sq ft building.
The job required a substantial amount of demo and re-work
for compliance with present day codes. Redundant power
was required, including a new service, gen-set, tap-box (for
roll-up gen-set) and UPS. The move-in was staged to
accommodate training employees prior to initiating
operations.
Countrywide Home Loans:
This 72K sq ft facility requires continual uninterrupted
power. A total of 336 circuits are fed from normal power
and an UPS. A 2,000kW gen-set backs up the entire facility;
if it fails there are provisions for a roll-up generator. A
second building was added at a later date that utilized the
original back-up system(s) to feed critical loads.
Cox Deer Valley:
The customer service center required redundant power for
continual communication and data services to Cox clients.
There were two gen-sets with paralleling gear required due to
the potential load. Inside, there was a raised floor installed in
the entire facility to accommodate adds, moves and changes.
Specially fabricated wiring components (outside) were required
due to the amount of wiring feeding the indoor panelboards.
ROC C-11 124240
Call Center Projects
7RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Monster:
This 80K sq ft employee recruiting center provided
challenges due to the open style architecture. It is
comprised of perimeter offices surrounding groups of
cubicles. Basket Cable Tray was installed to support
voice and data for work stations. A substantial amount of
concrete cutting was needed to provide power and
reduce the amount of suspended conduit.
International Cruises and Excursions (ICE):
ICE is a large travel agency as its name indicates. This job was
built in an existing facility that required demolition prior to
providing new circuitry and installation of a redundant power
system. The first floor consists primarily of cubicles
surrounded by closed offices. The second floor includes
administration offices and conference rooms.
Expert Global Solutions (EGS):
This is another project that required redundant power
systems and a staged move-in. Approximately one-third
was remodeling existing work station power; the balance
was “new-build”. New MDF and IDF rooms were needed
due to the expansion of EGS operations. They provide
customer service for their clients who are typically large
retail merchant chain stores.
United Health Group (UHG):
UHG, an insurer, built this project to support a new contract
with a federal government group. Wiring challenges included a
new electrical service (primary conductors, utility transformer,
secondary conductors and paralleled feeders), new gen-set, a
new UPS, new training facilities (1st floor) and the call center
group and administration (2nd and 3rd floors). Existing facility
demolition was required. A temporary gen-set was used while
services were reconfigured and/or installed.
ROC C-11 124240
Tenant Improvement Projects
8RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Ballard Spahr:
Three floors of Class “A” offices were provided in the original
Cityscape downtown tower for this large law firm. Logistics
were of utmost concern as other tenant spaces and the tower
itself were all built simultaneously. Getting personnel and
materials to their respective areas in a timely manner was
difficult, approaching impossible, at best. All wiring originated
from an existing bus duct riser.
Thunderbird Spec Suites:
This 28K sq ft project was comprised of thirteen spec suites in an
existing building. Completion of individual suites was coordinated
with other trades to allow for “case by case” final inspections. This
helped expedite the owner’s ability to lease individual spaces and
create revenue. The design/build process was used as the project
delivery method.
Sage:
Sage, the software provider, remodeled a portion of three floors
of their offices in Gainey Ranch. The phasing of this job created
the most difficult challenges due to the necessity of maintaining all
ongoing operations. One floor was vacated; the employees from
that floor were relocated to another one. When the
construction on the first of the remodeled floors was finished,
employees moved to the completed area and vacated another
floor. The process was repeated for the third, and final, floor.
NorthernTrust Bank:
The finish work for the bank offices is extremely “high end” even
for the Class “A” space in which they are located. New style
LED lighting is incorporated throughout. The new special lighting
control was required to interface with an existing energy
management system (EMS). Banking operations are conducted
on the first floor, and the administrative offices are located on
the third floor of a three story building.
ROC C-11 124240
Medical Facility Projects
9RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
TMC Advanced Imaging: This special medical
facility provides x-ray, CT scan and MRI services. The
electrical requirements are unique for these types of
equipment. Elimination of magnetic surfaces, isolation
transformers and trench duct are examples. Some of the
equipment was large enough to necessitate removal of an
exterior portion of the building to place the components
inside.
Mayo Clinic:
The work we performed was done in the original research
facility located on east Shea Blvd. Isolated, dedicated wiring
was required. Coordination with the medical team’s staff was
necessary to reconfigure a portion of the existing electrical.
Limited time frames required RMJ to work unusual shifts to
“swap-over” connections from the old system to the new.
Aurora:
Individuals with psychological disorders are treated at this
facility. Aspects unique to this environment include
specialized security measures and “tamperproof” electrical
components. A back-up gen-set was provided for critical
systems. Recreational areas (e.g.: gym, courtyard) were
provided for patient activities. The work included re-
modeling and new, add-on, construction.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital (West Valley):
This ground-up project was built to serve children needing treatment in
the west valley thereby alleviating any concerns with trips to and from the
downtown facility. All new medical technology is available at this location
with the exception of surgical procedures. Building Information Modeling
(BIM) was used to coordinate indoor construction activities.
Coordination with the serving utility and municipality were required to
provide electrical service to the building and street lighting for public areas
adjacent to the property.
ROC C-11 124240
Educational Facility Projects
10RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Ben Franklin Charter Schools:
These two schools are located in Queen Creek and Gilbert.
One is a large single story and the other is a two story with
a smaller footprint. Site lighting and gymnasiums were built
on these “ground-up” jobs, along with classrooms, at both
properties. Contract awards were issued extremely late
making schedule the critical construction factor.
UniversalTraining Institute (UTI):
This two floor TI was built in a mid-rise office complex on Scottsdale
Road. UTI provides education for a number of trade related
professions. An example is one of the largest motorcycle mechanic
schools in the US. This particular office is used for administration
and the development of various curriculums. There are multiple
architectural styles with modern type finishes.
Pearson Education:
This 135K sq ft project was a multistory TI in an existing shell.
Work on all floors was completed concurrently. The job
included redundant power systems and a substantial amount
of IT equipment. The facility is used for administration and
web-based learning.
Paideia (S. Phx) & Mesa Charter Schools:
These two wood-frame schools are both over 200K sq ft in size
and offer K – 8 classes. The electrical work included wiring of
the schoolhouses, site work, gyms, outdoor sport courts, food
service (warm-up only) and all associated offices. Compliance
with the project schedules was the biggest challenge.
Construction was “ground-up” and the South Phoenix site had
restricted access due to its small size.
ROC C-11 124240
Industrial Projects
11RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
SAS:
SAS is an injection molding facility that makes plastic cartons. The manufacturing
process consists of multiple presses, multiple runs of large bus duct and four
large electrical services. The electrical work included hook-up of the presses,
multiple cooling towers and compressors, multiple air compressors many of
which are fed from new motor control centers. There is also an area where rail
cars are unloaded to provide raw materials for the presses. A portion of the
work was delivered via normal contract procedures; later portions were
delivered by the design/build method.
WL Gore:
This work involves manufacturing products of a confidential
nature. There were multiple equipment hook-ups and
several “clean room” environments. Bus duct was installed
in large areas to accommodate equipment additions or
reconfigurations. There were also several offices and
conference rooms typical to a standard TI.
Upper Crust Bakery:
As this name indicates, this company produces baked goods; it
provides products as a wholesaler to multiple distributors. The
electrical work consisted of control wiring for new refrigeration
equipment, new large ovens with internal conveyors and
product lines for processing and packaging. The additions
required a new service including a larger primary line, a new
transformer and new secondary conductors provided by the
serving utility.
United Dairymen Association:
This facility produces cream cheese. All electrical equipment
in the food handling areas is stainless steel; all conduits are
PVC coated rigid. The component materials allow for full
wash-down, food-grade classification, in these locations. In
addition there is a 32 degree cold storage area where the
product is kept prior to shipment. The 21 week schedule was
phased for FDA inspections.
ROC C-11 124240
Other Noteworthy Projects
12RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
Shutterfly:
Novelty items imprinted with photographic images are
produced here. Multiple voltages were required for many
pieces of equipment that were manufactured in Europe.
Flexibility for hook-up of semi-mobile equipment required
special order tray cable. Modular wiring was used for the
lighting installation. The building is 177,500 sq ft in size. One
electrical service was replaced and one was added.
Pinnacle IV:
This ground-up project included six stories above grade and two
underground parking levels. An emergency gen-set and fire
pump were required to meet fire protection requirements and
adequately supply the buildings sprinkler system. An exterior
LED up-light system that includes multiple scenes and colors was
added to showcase the building’s elevation. Since completion of
the shell, RMJ has performed all electrical TI work in the building.
DeerValley Commerce Center:
This project was a site comprised of office/warehouse buildings
for individual small businesses. It is located just north of the
west end of the Deer Valley Airport runways. The reason the
job made this list is because RMJ owns one of the buildings.
We completed a portion of the ground-up work and portions
of the TI work. We’re extremely proud of our facility.
Pinnacle at Perimeter:
This property is owned and managed by one of RMJ’s most
loyal clients, Furst Properties. It is a three story office
project built on a large footprint. RMJ has performed all
work from the ground-up to the last TI that was finished.
There is lighting for a large parking area and accent lighting
for the landscaped areas.

“I AMYOUR CUSTOMER”
I am your customer. Satisfy my wants; add personal attention and a friendly touch and I will
become a walking advertisement for your service. Ignore my wants, show carelessness,
inattention and poor manners, and I will simply cease to exist.
I am sophisticated. Much more so than I was a few years ago. My needs are more complex.
I have grown accustomed to better things. I am sensitive. I am proud. My ego needs the
nourishment of a friendly, personal greeting from you. It is important to me that you appreciate
my business. After all, when I buy your services, my money is feeding you.
I am a perfectionist. I want the best I can get for the money I spend. When I criticize
your service, and when I am dissatisfied, I will talk to anyone who will listen, then take heed.
The source of my discontent lies in something you or the service you sell have failed to do.
Find that source and eliminate it or lose my business and that of my friends as well.
I am fickle. Other businessmen continually beckon to me with offers of “more” for my
money. To keep my business, you must offer something better than they. I am your customer
now, but you must prove to me again and again that I have made a wise choice in selecting your
company and your service ABOVE ALL OTHERS.

Our responsiveness and attention to detail has created lasting relationships. Above all, our core values have held us to a standard our clients have come to expect with each project, and we are happy to deliver. MISSION STATEMENT Our focus is on doing excellent electrical work for a select group of customers. This demands that we hire proficient project managers, foremen, electricians, and ready to learn apprentices. These dedicated employees through a continuous safety and electrical training program will create an electrical company equaled by none. RMJ will support these employees with incentives in order to keep them, and provide the service to our customers they deserve. 2RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.
  • 3. ROC C-11 124240 COMPANY OVERVIEW RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. was founded by Rodney Jarrell on February 26, 1997. At its inception, the company’s entire focus was to perform tenant improvement (T.I.) electrical work. As the organization has grown, its areas of expertise have as well. Although the company will always maintain its share of the T.I. market, today the team works on more diverse types of electrical projects. These projects include new construction, design build, industrial, medical facilities, churches, schools, redundant power and distribution/ warehouse. RMJ also has a full time Service Department. RMJ is always evolving to meet the diverse needs of its clients. RMJ has undergone steady controlled growth during the first 18 years. RMJ is consistently listed in the Top 5 of Arizona Business Magazine’s “Ranking Arizona”. Timely Materials Through the years we have developed an excellent relationship with our distributors, manufacturers and representatives of the fixtures, switchgear and electrical materials we need to bring the jobs in on time and within budget. Our purchasing department is run by a very knowledgeable Purchasing Agent who utilizes the APEX computerized purchasing system. Quick Estimating and Budget Pricing Staying current with technology helps RMJ budget and price projects quicker. This expedited pricing for bids and preliminary budgets provides value to our customer. We utilize the Accubid Electrical Estimating system and receive electronic material updates regularly. Quality Employees We only send out knowledgeable (drug tested) individuals, from helper to foreman. These people are carefully screened by RMJ to protect our clients. Quality Supervision Knowledgeable Foreman and Service Managers that have worked their way through the trade, supervise all electrical installations, and stay in direct contact with the customer. We only hire supervisors who have excellent reputations with electrical inspectors, contractors and electrical engineers. Safety and Training Program: All employees complete a two hour safety indoctrination when they are hired. Periodic training ensures that all field personnel are OSHA 10 hour certified at a minimum. The National Electrical Code is taught in-house along with local codes and lessons learned by our more experienced employees. 3RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc.

  • 5. ROC C-11 124240 Distribution/ Warehouse Projects 5RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Amazon 7: This 1.2M sq ft project is considered a large product facility. The schedule was even more aggressive than Amazon 6. Two shifts, peaking at 41 electricians each, worked with one other electrical contractor to complete the job in 28 days. RMJ’s pre-task planning and material handling processes allowed for a phased move-in. Amazon 6: The owner refers to this 1.4M sq ft location as a small sort facility. Multiple crews worked on the job making logistics particularly difficult. RMJ worked two shifts of 32 electricians per shift. As with most current day projects, this one had an aggressive schedule and challenging budget.. Dick’s Sporting Goods: This facility, 740K sq ft total, was built in 20 weeks. RMJ was responsible for the work inside the warehouse and the tenant improvement. The finishes were unique; every room was designed to imitate a different sport. The warehouse had a 32’ clear finish height, which is consistent to almost all of the distribution/warehouse jobs RMJ has wired. GAP: This 600K sq ft warehouse has some of the most unique features RMJ has encountered. All material sorting is handled by robots (Kiva System); these robots are capable of charging themselves using their programming to divert to charging stations. All the wiring in this building was installed by RMJ, including the owner’s conveyance systems.
  • 6. ROC C-11 124240 Redundant Power Projects 6RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Humana Dispensing: RMJ installed an UPS and associated panelboards that operate in conjunction with an existing gen-set. The new power source was needed to run a conveyor system that prepares mail order prescriptions for delivery to Humana customers. Loss of power to the conveyor system can affect fulfilling orders and create inventory control problems. Security was a concern due to the regulation of products staged in this facility. Asurion: This call center was built in an existing 60K sq ft building. The job required a substantial amount of demo and re-work for compliance with present day codes. Redundant power was required, including a new service, gen-set, tap-box (for roll-up gen-set) and UPS. The move-in was staged to accommodate training employees prior to initiating operations. Countrywide Home Loans: This 72K sq ft facility requires continual uninterrupted power. A total of 336 circuits are fed from normal power and an UPS. A 2,000kW gen-set backs up the entire facility; if it fails there are provisions for a roll-up generator. A second building was added at a later date that utilized the original back-up system(s) to feed critical loads. Cox Deer Valley: The customer service center required redundant power for continual communication and data services to Cox clients. There were two gen-sets with paralleling gear required due to the potential load. Inside, there was a raised floor installed in the entire facility to accommodate adds, moves and changes. Specially fabricated wiring components (outside) were required due to the amount of wiring feeding the indoor panelboards.
  • 7. ROC C-11 124240 Call Center Projects 7RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Monster: This 80K sq ft employee recruiting center provided challenges due to the open style architecture. It is comprised of perimeter offices surrounding groups of cubicles. Basket Cable Tray was installed to support voice and data for work stations. A substantial amount of concrete cutting was needed to provide power and reduce the amount of suspended conduit. International Cruises and Excursions (ICE): ICE is a large travel agency as its name indicates. This job was built in an existing facility that required demolition prior to providing new circuitry and installation of a redundant power system. The first floor consists primarily of cubicles surrounded by closed offices. The second floor includes administration offices and conference rooms. Expert Global Solutions (EGS): This is another project that required redundant power systems and a staged move-in. Approximately one-third was remodeling existing work station power; the balance was “new-build”. New MDF and IDF rooms were needed due to the expansion of EGS operations. They provide customer service for their clients who are typically large retail merchant chain stores. United Health Group (UHG): UHG, an insurer, built this project to support a new contract with a federal government group. Wiring challenges included a new electrical service (primary conductors, utility transformer, secondary conductors and paralleled feeders), new gen-set, a new UPS, new training facilities (1st floor) and the call center group and administration (2nd and 3rd floors). Existing facility demolition was required. A temporary gen-set was used while services were reconfigured and/or installed.
  • 8. ROC C-11 124240 Tenant Improvement Projects 8RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Ballard Spahr: Three floors of Class “A” offices were provided in the original Cityscape downtown tower for this large law firm. Logistics were of utmost concern as other tenant spaces and the tower itself were all built simultaneously. Getting personnel and materials to their respective areas in a timely manner was difficult, approaching impossible, at best. All wiring originated from an existing bus duct riser. Thunderbird Spec Suites: This 28K sq ft project was comprised of thirteen spec suites in an existing building. Completion of individual suites was coordinated with other trades to allow for “case by case” final inspections. This helped expedite the owner’s ability to lease individual spaces and create revenue. The design/build process was used as the project delivery method. Sage: Sage, the software provider, remodeled a portion of three floors of their offices in Gainey Ranch. The phasing of this job created the most difficult challenges due to the necessity of maintaining all ongoing operations. One floor was vacated; the employees from that floor were relocated to another one. When the construction on the first of the remodeled floors was finished, employees moved to the completed area and vacated another floor. The process was repeated for the third, and final, floor. NorthernTrust Bank: The finish work for the bank offices is extremely “high end” even for the Class “A” space in which they are located. New style LED lighting is incorporated throughout. The new special lighting control was required to interface with an existing energy management system (EMS). Banking operations are conducted on the first floor, and the administrative offices are located on the third floor of a three story building.
  • 9. ROC C-11 124240 Medical Facility Projects 9RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. TMC Advanced Imaging: This special medical facility provides x-ray, CT scan and MRI services. The electrical requirements are unique for these types of equipment. Elimination of magnetic surfaces, isolation transformers and trench duct are examples. Some of the equipment was large enough to necessitate removal of an exterior portion of the building to place the components inside. Mayo Clinic: The work we performed was done in the original research facility located on east Shea Blvd. Isolated, dedicated wiring was required. Coordination with the medical team’s staff was necessary to reconfigure a portion of the existing electrical. Limited time frames required RMJ to work unusual shifts to “swap-over” connections from the old system to the new. Aurora: Individuals with psychological disorders are treated at this facility. Aspects unique to this environment include specialized security measures and “tamperproof” electrical components. A back-up gen-set was provided for critical systems. Recreational areas (e.g.: gym, courtyard) were provided for patient activities. The work included re- modeling and new, add-on, construction. Phoenix Children’s Hospital (West Valley): This ground-up project was built to serve children needing treatment in the west valley thereby alleviating any concerns with trips to and from the downtown facility. All new medical technology is available at this location with the exception of surgical procedures. Building Information Modeling (BIM) was used to coordinate indoor construction activities. Coordination with the serving utility and municipality were required to provide electrical service to the building and street lighting for public areas adjacent to the property.
  • 10. ROC C-11 124240 Educational Facility Projects 10RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Ben Franklin Charter Schools: These two schools are located in Queen Creek and Gilbert. One is a large single story and the other is a two story with a smaller footprint. Site lighting and gymnasiums were built on these “ground-up” jobs, along with classrooms, at both properties. Contract awards were issued extremely late making schedule the critical construction factor. UniversalTraining Institute (UTI): This two floor TI was built in a mid-rise office complex on Scottsdale Road. UTI provides education for a number of trade related professions. An example is one of the largest motorcycle mechanic schools in the US. This particular office is used for administration and the development of various curriculums. There are multiple architectural styles with modern type finishes. Pearson Education: This 135K sq ft project was a multistory TI in an existing shell. Work on all floors was completed concurrently. The job included redundant power systems and a substantial amount of IT equipment. The facility is used for administration and web-based learning. Paideia (S. Phx) & Mesa Charter Schools: These two wood-frame schools are both over 200K sq ft in size and offer K – 8 classes. The electrical work included wiring of the schoolhouses, site work, gyms, outdoor sport courts, food service (warm-up only) and all associated offices. Compliance with the project schedules was the biggest challenge. Construction was “ground-up” and the South Phoenix site had restricted access due to its small size.
  • 11. ROC C-11 124240 Industrial Projects 11RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. SAS: SAS is an injection molding facility that makes plastic cartons. The manufacturing process consists of multiple presses, multiple runs of large bus duct and four large electrical services. The electrical work included hook-up of the presses, multiple cooling towers and compressors, multiple air compressors many of which are fed from new motor control centers. There is also an area where rail cars are unloaded to provide raw materials for the presses. A portion of the work was delivered via normal contract procedures; later portions were delivered by the design/build method. WL Gore: This work involves manufacturing products of a confidential nature. There were multiple equipment hook-ups and several “clean room” environments. Bus duct was installed in large areas to accommodate equipment additions or reconfigurations. There were also several offices and conference rooms typical to a standard TI. Upper Crust Bakery: As this name indicates, this company produces baked goods; it provides products as a wholesaler to multiple distributors. The electrical work consisted of control wiring for new refrigeration equipment, new large ovens with internal conveyors and product lines for processing and packaging. The additions required a new service including a larger primary line, a new transformer and new secondary conductors provided by the serving utility. United Dairymen Association: This facility produces cream cheese. All electrical equipment in the food handling areas is stainless steel; all conduits are PVC coated rigid. The component materials allow for full wash-down, food-grade classification, in these locations. In addition there is a 32 degree cold storage area where the product is kept prior to shipment. The 21 week schedule was phased for FDA inspections.
  • 12. ROC C-11 124240 Other Noteworthy Projects 12RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. Shutterfly: Novelty items imprinted with photographic images are produced here. Multiple voltages were required for many pieces of equipment that were manufactured in Europe. Flexibility for hook-up of semi-mobile equipment required special order tray cable. Modular wiring was used for the lighting installation. The building is 177,500 sq ft in size. One electrical service was replaced and one was added. Pinnacle IV: This ground-up project included six stories above grade and two underground parking levels. An emergency gen-set and fire pump were required to meet fire protection requirements and adequately supply the buildings sprinkler system. An exterior LED up-light system that includes multiple scenes and colors was added to showcase the building’s elevation. Since completion of the shell, RMJ has performed all electrical TI work in the building. DeerValley Commerce Center: This project was a site comprised of office/warehouse buildings for individual small businesses. It is located just north of the west end of the Deer Valley Airport runways. The reason the job made this list is because RMJ owns one of the buildings. We completed a portion of the ground-up work and portions of the TI work. We’re extremely proud of our facility. Pinnacle at Perimeter: This property is owned and managed by one of RMJ’s most loyal clients, Furst Properties. It is a three story office project built on a large footprint. RMJ has performed all work from the ground-up to the last TI that was finished. There is lighting for a large parking area and accent lighting for the landscaped areas.

  • 16. “I AMYOUR CUSTOMER” I am your customer. Satisfy my wants; add personal attention and a friendly touch and I will become a walking advertisement for your service. Ignore my wants, show carelessness, inattention and poor manners, and I will simply cease to exist. I am sophisticated. Much more so than I was a few years ago. My needs are more complex. I have grown accustomed to better things. I am sensitive. I am proud. My ego needs the nourishment of a friendly, personal greeting from you. It is important to me that you appreciate my business. After all, when I buy your services, my money is feeding you. I am a perfectionist. I want the best I can get for the money I spend. When I criticize your service, and when I am dissatisfied, I will talk to anyone who will listen, then take heed. The source of my discontent lies in something you or the service you sell have failed to do. Find that source and eliminate it or lose my business and that of my friends as well. I am fickle. Other businessmen continually beckon to me with offers of “more” for my money. To keep my business, you must offer something better than they. I am your customer now, but you must prove to me again and again that I have made a wise choice in selecting your company and your service ABOVE ALL OTHERS. - Author Unknown OUR PERCEPTION RMJ Electrical Contractors, Inc. 22425 North 18th Drive Phoenix, AZ 85027 P: 623-434-5700 F: 623-434-5701 www.rmjelectric.com
