I heartily recommend Jenni Schreiber for any writing, editing or proofreading
position you have available.
I have worked with Jenni for more than three years at Yellow Pages, the
Canadian-based telephone book company. While the print (phone book) section
of the company was being phased out, Jenni and I have worked together on the
digital team, which produces websites for Canadian businesses.
As a quality assurance specialist, I found Jenni to be exceptionally easy to work
with. She was neither too nit-picky nor too lax in her proofreading, but caught
fixed copy / design issues while causing minimal disruption to the process. Jenni
is well thought of here at Yellow Pages.
Jenni has successfully weathered some very high-stress periods. In 2015, the
copywriting and graphic design teams worked mandatory overtime more weeks
than not, so QA faced a mountain of websites to proofread. At no point did Jenni
seem overwhelmed or upset by this high-pressure environment. Instead, she
remained her usual friendly, competent self.
Finally, as a copywriter myself, I judge Jenni’s copywriting ability to be excellent.
In fact, Jenni was asked to move from her QA position to copywriting at times
when the Copywriting team became overwhelmed. She did an outstanding job
here with little official training.
