JOB PROFILE:( Working for Hindustan Unilever Limited-Andheri)
 Microbiological testing -
1) Performing BS EN 1040, EN 1276, EN 13704 for efficacy testing of products like bodywashes,
soaps, handwashes.
2) Performing ASTM protocols for soap bars and home care products
3) Contact kill tests for various home care products performed.
4) Performing customer specific protocols with respect to minimum inhibitory, contact time studies
and Hand Wash Efficacy Suspension Test.
5) Performing Disc diffusion tests for various samples
6) Performing Agar cup method
7) Performing Phenol coefficient for standard phenol and disinfectants
8) Performing Antibacterial test activity and microbial load for RO and Glass Distilled Water.
Documentation:-
1) Preparing the reports for all the tests mentioned above.
2) Preparing Standard operating procedure (SOPs), templates for Equipments and tests and updating
them whenever require.
3) Result entry of the data obtained in the tests in Raw data template (Hard copy) and maintaining soft
copy also.
4) Verification of the results entered in hard copy and soft copy and calculation checking as a primary
verifier
5) Conversant with purchase order procedures.
6) Maintaining the log books for equipments for their history, repair and maintenance and external
calibration.
Miscellaneous:-
1) Handling purchase, storage and record maintenance for readymade dehydrated media
2) Requirement of Certificate of analysis (COA) for each lot of media
3) Regular stock checking of media bottles for expiry by every end of the month.
4) Contacting the supplier for quotations and purchase of new material.
5) Lab fumigation and air flora monitoring along with monthly swab test to check air flora counts.

box, RO unit, Glass Distillation Unit, Micropipettes, Refrigerators, PCS tester( probe), Drinking water
cooler, thermometers, Aquaguard water purifier.
