2. IN THE LAST
CENTURY...
At the end of the last
century, scientists started
to warn that climate
change was
approaching. Since
2010 , summers began to
be longer and winters
more pleasant. The
drought is not news and
Catalonia has become
a few square kilometres
smaller because of the
sea levels.
3. For several decades, the most of the
states have reduced the production of
industrial gases which facilitated the
global warming. But not all countries
respect the rules, as they are more
industrialized countries. They are afraid of
losing production.
4. BARCELONA Catalonia was a
snowy country, It
snowed in winter.
There were glaciers
millennia ago and
they no longer exist.
Even in Barcelona
people skied in the
streets. Now, they
have to make
trips to Northern
Europe to see
snow.

5. In the last three years the average
temperature has risen THREE degrees and
a half. The polar icecaps are practically
melted.
