Our mission is to Seek, Identify, and Support young
Agents of Change to pursue higher education and
make a difference in the community.

3. Serve together with Monster Scholars and community
4. Provide College Prep consulting- 8th graders (study skills

Ambassador Teachers provide the lens that we
use to select our Monster Scholars.

STEP 1
- Choose 3 nominees from your class who are...
1. College-bound
2. Compassionate
3. Driven
4. Future leaders of their community
(By March 7th)
We ask these nominees,
“How do you want to make an impact in your community?”

STEP 2
- Assist nominees in taking video of reading
their essay and submission (Youtube video)
● Award $25 gift card to nominee and to ambassador
teacher
● Application Deadline: April 1st
From the nominees, MEF will choose finalists by selecting the essays which
exhibit that the nominee truly wants to make a positive and lasting impact on
his/her community.
9. 6th Grade Ambassador Teachers
(If one or more of your students are selected as a finalist…) STEP 3
- Assist nominees in taking video of reading
their essay and submission (Youtube video)
● Award $25 gift card to finalist
We ask the finalists,
“How could you use $50 to positively impact your
community today?”
MEF selects the final Monster Scholars who successfully plan a credible
strategy for bringing about positive change in his/her community.

HUGE! Today, we were officially approved by the GoodCity board to partner with them in a fiscal partnership. We'll have official nonprofit status and be able to reach out to schools, teachers, Scholars soon!! So excited!!

FIRST AMBASSADOR SCHOOL?
We met with Catalyst Circle Rock administration this morning and extended the offer to become our first Ambassador School. !!! Our visions are aligned.. we're excited to see young Agents of Change make a positive impact in their communities. We're just about ready to seek out our first Ambassador Teachers!
Must let us know who the nominees are by March 7th (any year)
Students have 2 weeks to write their essays/video- submit via email/youtube
1- Possibly converting to a trust through More Than SAT counsel
2.Garden- Ekua- Yellow Tractor? Justin- Homeless students- Chicago Hopes (chicagohopes.org), Star- Chicago Park District- Peace rally, Mark- Monster Mobile
3. Feed My Starving Children (2014) with Mark’s family, Justin, Ekua, and mom- 3 board members
4. More Than SAT will provide 2 hours or more if needed of free consulting for high school study skills, notetaking, college prep- family financial planning
5. Monday before Thanksgiving - Launch Party was at Gala Banquets in Jefferson Park-
