- 7. UN SDGs and CITIES One way to deliver on the urban advantage is to double down on the Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs. The SDGs include 17 goals and 169 targets to be achieved by 2030. SDG 11 focuses on sustainable cities and communities, which explicitly acknowledges the socio-economic, housing, infrastructure and environmental challenges associated with turbo-urbanization. - 12. Fastrack Process The process is divided into five stages that can be deployed individually or as a whole
- 13. Each Fastrack is governed by regional stakeholders and citizens connected by the Fastrack platform to solve complex urban problems in their city. Fastracks are facilitated by delivery teams comprised of OpenExO ecosystem members working with local experts, partners and entrepreneurs. A Regional Advisory Board comprised of key local decision-makers helps to guide the work of the teams.
