Prior to joining the Secret Service in 1984, McQuain worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and served in the U.S. Army Military Police. Over 31 years experience with the U.S. Secret Service, most recently as the Operations Sergeant at the
James J. Rowley Training Center (JJRTC). Responsible for all daily activities, that are managed,
coordinated, and facilitated at the JJRTC. These activities included, but were not limited to, acting as the
main point of contact for other entities, managing daily schedules, and notifying management of the
operational status of events that occurred on the JJRTC. In addition, the operations office coordinates all
activities with the Contingency of Operations Plan (COOP) functions of the facility, and conducts liaison
duties, with outside entities (DHS, military landing zone coordination, Protective Detail, training activities
and Tours).
