To Whom It May Concern:
When Jean requested that I provide him with a letter of recommendation, I was happy to do
so.
My relationship with him is through Southwestern College, where I instructed him in several
technical courses. For legal reasons I obviously cannot provide his grades but it will suffice to
say that he was always at the top of his class. His assignments were submitted before the
deadlines and completed to the highest quality, in every subject.
In addition, Jean was a standout in his groups because it would appear he has a natural
leadership ability. In our online courses we have required discussion participation every week.
This consists of answering a question and then replying to two other students. These posts are
then graded for grammar, spelling, and of course a sufficient answer to the query. The
average student simply provides the three required replies. Not Jean. He consistently doubled
this requirement and always provided responses that benefitted the learning of all readers.
I would not hesitate to recommend him for a position.
