FaceBot uses the Preston-Blair simple phoneme set to sync animation to audio using blendshapes, with best results achieved by creating a model phoneme config file mapping blendshapes to phoneme shapes. While using matching blendshape names allows AutoSync to work without a config file, it prevents adjusting animation with the facial rig since phonemes are not part of its blendshape set structure.
