Why the Inspections Officer?
2) 3rd Party View
 What is a Third Party?
 What are they used for?
 Bad habits, are off policy procedures. Staff and even seniors in the area of inspection become
blinded to this since it has become routine.
 Second opinions or observations are sometimes necessary. Confirmation of something that
isn’t clear.
 Example, PT’s having patients schedule on another PT’s schedule or mentoring sessions.
Why the Inspections Officer?
3) Seniors on Post
 How many of you would like the seniors in your org to spend more time “steering the ship”
and less time digging?
 How could this positively impact your organization?
 How does the Senior get unloaded?
Senior
Senior Requests Inspection Inspection Officer is assigned
an inspection in the area
due to up or down stat
Why the Inspections Officer?
4) Expansion Facilitation
 Non-E inspections
 Policy and Procedures create potential energy that can be turned into
kinetic energy if in place and functioning. The degree of which the potential
energy is achieved depends on,
A) Staff member on purpose
B) Staff member hatted
C) Ethics
Why the Inspections Officer?
5) Power Attainment
