Thisis a veryinterestingpresentationforme because Ihave sometimesproblemswithmakinga
presentationattractive enoughtofollow.I’ve alreadygotmanycommentsof myvoice whichI use to
much ina monotone way.

He saysthat there are 7 aspectsthat we needto avoidwhenwe are talking.Itcontains7 aspects:
- Gossip( nota nice habit)
- Judging
- Negativity
- Complaining
- Excuses
- Lying
- Dogmatism( havinga meaningthatcan’t change by anything)
While givingaspeech,there are 4 powerful foundationswherewe canstandon. Julianusesa
mnemonictoexplainthis,it’sakindof a memoryaid.
H = Honestly
A = Authenticity
I = Integrity
L = Lover

Thenhe explainsthatourvoice ise verygreatinstrumentandthat youcan transformyour ownvoice
ina goodway byusing6 elements.
- Register = lowervoice by usingthe chest(fact:more votesforpoliticianswithlowervoices)
- Timbre =the way yourvoice feels( make sure thatyour voice feelswarm
- Prosody = talkinginone note isn’tthatattractive
- Pace = a momentof silence canbe verypowerful ( e.g.aftere strongstatement)
- Pitch = goodintonation( a questionmustbe pronouncedasa question)
- volume = turn up the volume whenyou’re exuberant,whisperif youwantextraattention
