2. Some things we found of cultural interest in Norway
The trees trimming
practices seemed very odd
to us.
Many safety vests always
labeled with the sponsor.
3. For a big city Oslo seemed quiet.
Except for major arterials we saw
very little car traffic. No one honked.
We saw way more people walking
than we expected.
Always lots or walkers & pedestrian streets
4. Twin beds with mini comforters folded like
sleeping bags seemed practical. The showers
that drained in the bathroom floor were not.
The water usually sprayed all over the
bathroom floor making it slick. The shower
curtain or barrier usually was only a partial
surround. Watch where you spray!
5. Baby carriages everywhere, many driven by lone
men and sometimes loaded lots of stuff.
We figured 2 factors
are responsible.
Everyone is walking. At
home these babes
would be in car seats.
Up to 59 weeks of
parental leave
including 15 for the
father.
