 The teacher checks the Entry Test with all students.
 The teacher explains about the passive voice in present tense.
 Passive voice: Passive voice is used when the focus is on the action. It is not
Important or not known; however, who or what is performing the action.
 In sentences with passive verbs, the subject receives the action: it is not the
"doer" of the verb's action. For that reason, the passive is most often used when
the verb and the object are known, but the subject is either unknown or
unimportant. In situations such as this, the emphasis is on the object.
Example:
 Bob's car was stolen yesterday.
(unknown subject, emphasis on the object)
15:30-16:00
 After the teacher explains about Transitive or Intransitive verbs.
 Transitive verbs are action verbs that have an object to receive that action.
Example:
I moved the chair.
 Intransitive verbs are action verbs but unlike transitive verbs, they do not have an
object receiving the action.
Example:
I work.
