RE: Janet Wilcox
I am both pleased and honored to write this recommendation on behalf of Janet Wilcox. I
met Janet while working for CMP Content; a division that is only a year old, borne from a
much larger and very successful trailer, behind-the-scenes, EPK, original content
company. I am the Director of Operations/Head of Production and Original Content for
CMP Content. And, I was lucky to have had the privilege of working with Janet Wilcox.
Janet had nothing but smiles for me the day I stepped foot into the building; I knew she
cared about her work, helping the people with whom she worked, and her commitment to
the company was evident. She took great pride in her work, and that was evident with the
materials for which she had oversight, and in the people whom she managed.
Janet’s dedication and commitment to CMP and its clients remained unwavering and
unparalleled. She was always helpful and energetic, and eager to hone her skills and
expand the processes by which the post department was organized and managed. Janet
supervised and coordinated all of CMP Content’s post facilities, bays, equipment, post
projects, and all internal and client requests, she supervised the post-production
employees and both the SD and HD on-line finishes of our projects – none of which was
a small feat given the volume of work and the complicated finishing processes.
As well, Janet was the liaison to our theatrical and AV clients; able to speak the post
language for all of our deliveries and finishes. Janet bridged the gap with our out-of-house
finishing vendors as well. Her knowledge of the post-production arena and equipment is
astounding. Her creative abilities and vision is also astounding.
Janet was our rock; we were able to rely on her to facilitate all media/elements, guidance
creatively on projects, to deliver projects on time- perfectly, and her rapport with our clients
was stellar. In fact, if ever Janet was out for a day, we’d worry given how extensive her
familiarity and knowledge was of all our projects and our post-production system, which
Janet was instrumental in establishing and molding.
Janet’s constant desire for knowledge in an ever-evolving technical arena is commendable
and extraordinary. Her ability to continue to hone her skills in a continually changing
medium is admirable. She was always checking our processes, workflow, and
conventions in order to be certain we were current and running efficiently, delivering the
best product to our client. Janet did whatever it took (many late nights and weekends) to
deliver projects on-time and perfectly; we could always count on her.

2. I am proud and grateful to have had the privilege of working with Janet. She never let me
down, and she taught me much. Her grace, experience, and friendly and helpful attitude
always made the difference. I could rely on Janet at every turn. Janet was always
considerate of other employees, and attentive and helpful to all of our clients and other
vendors. Janet would go out of her way to give everyone her attention and smile at them –
letting them know what she was working on and asking how she could help.
Janet has managed to successfully find the balance between the creative aspects of the
ever-evolving entertainment industry, and the technical side. It is clear that Janet loves her
craft. Again, it is with great pleasure that write this recommendation for Janet Wilcox.
Janet continues to seek the knowledge required to be able to be part of an industry that
holds its participants to such high standards. Janet holds herself to those same high
standards, and I have no doubt that she will continue to thrive, and will do so in every facet
of her life and her career.
