This case study documents an adult female patient's progress on a LEAP diet to address interstitial cystitis and other health concerns. The patient's main goals were to improve bladder control, urgency, and incontinence related to her interstitial cystitis, as well as a rash on her face. After two weeks on the LEAP diet, the patient experienced a 70% reduction in symptoms based on a symptom survey. After six weeks, she had an additional 18% reduction in symptoms, for a total 63% reduction so far. Notes indicate her urination frequency decreased and pain when urinating also decreased after two weeks on the diet.
