A wise man listened to a group who continually complained about the same issues. To make a point, he told them the same joke three times - the first time they laughed, the second time a few smiled, and the third time there was no reaction. The man explained that just as they stopped laughing at the repeated joke, continually complaining about the same problem is pointless unless action is taken to fix it. The moral is that it is better to take action than waste time complaining without result.
