I was Jamie's instructor for his capstone practicum in his Mental Health and Human Services Degree at
the University of Maine at Augusta. Jamie was a strong student and participant in the online course -
engaging and participating throughout the semester. Jamie's placement was perfect for him and for this
time in his career development. He saw an agency struggling to start up a new location and was patient
with the length of time it took to place him, set the practicum up and arrange all of the details. In the final
analysis Jamie had an exceptional experience and contributed to the agency and clients throughout. I have
full confidence in Jamie's ability to succeed in helping others win the addiction battles.
