• A speed not exceeding 30 MPH.

Restricted Speed
• A speed that will permit stopping within half the range
of vision, short of train, engine, obstruction, railroad
car, men or equipment fouling track, any signal
requiring a stop, derail or switch lined improperly and

• 20 MPH
or
• 15 MPH when diverting through any turnout or
crossover governed by Conrail Signal indications.
