Professor James Moffat was a Senior Fellow of the Defence Science and Technology
Laboratory (Dstl) for 13 years (retired August 2016), gaining a global reputation in mathematical
modelling. He is now an Honorary Professor in the Department of Physics, Aberdeen University.
