• It has an average group of 24 from across all readers.
• Most of NME readers are working full time and some part time and a small percentage still studying.
• Most NME readers have Interests in Internet, with using it for almost 19hours a week.

• iPOP users, Audience is 32% male and 68% female.
• Average age of 16.
• It is mix race.
• 86% of readers are still in education.

4. How will this research affect my ideas.
• This research the way I will write my article. (Informal or Formal)
• It will change the style of it, do I want it for Teens or slightly older audience or both. (try both)
• Will I make it aiming for one gender or both. (Try both)
• The research I have found on reader profiles, will effect the way I will write my article, it has
change my ideas of font and style of writing, (Informal or Formal). It has also give me new ideas
on use of imagery. The research has helped me decide if I want a younger or older audience.

5. Target audience
My target audience is going to be a mix Young and Old but more predominately younger. I’ve also decided to write for my
article for both genders but it could be more for Males than females. My article will consist of mainly Indie rock and Pop rock
so my target audience will need an interest in bands that fit Is Category. I am targeting this target audience as I can write
about this music as I listen to it and I am of that age group so ill understand what is needed.
