PROGRAM | MEEP, INC . | 2012 - 2013
As the Lead Second Grade Teacher for the Miraloma Educational Enrichment Program, MEEP Inc. for
the 2012 - 2013 school year, I facilitate learning experiences that promote autonomy, interaction and
choice for twenty second grade students. I use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to
teach the areas of art, science, outdoors, and cooking/health. I collaborate with my Assistant Teacher
to facilitate 30 - 40 minutes of organized, cooperative games and team-building activities everyday. I
work with students one-on-one to support their reading fluency, reading comprehension, spelling, and
writing skills during homework period. Featured below and above are a few examples of art, science,
and cooking/health enrichment activities from the year.
