Key Skills
Mainly Data Analyst and SQL, PowerCenter mappings and workflow redesigns in a couple of projects and
knowledge of IBM ETL tool DataStage. Working with Business Objects during 20 months, prepared
during weeks Hortonworks certification HDPCD2019 (unfortunately I failed the exam as the exercises
were requested in multiserver cluster while in the course we used monolithic cluster). In addition, I had
courses of 8 hours in Scrum (about this I’ve used JIRA and Confluence), 14 hours in SAS CI. More
recently, I have worked in Tableau, done several LinkdIn courses in Python, several courses of
Generative AI (ChatGPT and Llama2) and obtained Snowflake SnowPro Core certification in June

2. Work experience
1) 2 years and a half working in Barclays, mainly in the Data Warehouse where around 1 year I was
working directly with the client (without an IBM project manager in the daily tasks). Lessons learnt:
a. much experience acquired in the treatment with all kind of stakeholders of different
countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, India)
b. Improvement in SQL queries and analysis of the data obtained.
2) 10 months working in a BPM project in Barclays. My main role was to be the official tester of the
processes “KYC” (Know Your Customer, about client information renovation) and Bonds.
3) Later 6 months in Telefónica developing an informational system (we had to refine an analysis
taking into account the changes appeared) in its CdR (Creación de Red, “Network creation”)
part. My duties were requirements capture, design&development of a TPR (Time Persistant
Repository) and “collaboration” in the development of ETL processes with Datastage (I helped
responsible people of this part time by time).
4) From March 2014 to May 2015 in Vodafone, 1st
in their DWH and after in the creation of RMS
(Risk Management System) as events DB configurator and events test manager.
5) From June 2015 to November 2015, I had to redesign some PowerCenter mappings to fix the
issues detected by Telefónica in the files created and to be uploaded to SuccessFactors from the
source files got from the SFTP.
6) From March 2016 to 31st
December 2017, I worked in WPP (world's largest advertising
company) as Spain reports responsible. These reports were made with Business Objects (Until
November 2016 BO3, from then BO4) using mainly Web Intelligence Rich Client (reports tool),
Universe Design tool and Launch Pad but also other tools like Central Management Console,
Version Management and Promotion Management.
7) From January 2018 to October 2019, I worked in CSA project inside ISBAN (Santander bank). I
am the responsible of all systems in PREPRODUCTION environment (including Spain and Germany
systems). Also I helped Marcos Jiménez Rodriguez (Viewnext Big Data SME) in the creation of the
Big Data learning documentation testing the exercises he creates, doing a double task:
a. Enriching his documentation with screenshots and notes to do those exercises including
issues I find and links with information to solve those issues.
b. Informing him about those issues to take them into account in the documentation he is
creating concurrently.
8) From October 2019 to January 2021, I worked in PRJ-1097(“Multimarca” system, MM from now
on) of Orange. MM was the replacement of another system in Orange, BAU. Several input
systems of BAU were going to be disconnected (from now on “old_systems”) and the
information of those systems was going to be calculated in another system called DWHU (Data
Warehouse Unificado, Unified Dwh). The goal of MM is to substitute BAU:
- replacing the connections with old_systems with new connections to DWHU
- doing the same functionality for the rest of the systems
For all this, lot of analysis of what information and its origin and lot of meetings/workshops with
Orange had to be done. I went to 10 workshops at the beginning of my assignation and did lot of
3. different type of analysis, mainly data analysis (where the information comes/goes to) but also
some technical analysis (how to get database statistics, how to solve codification issues, etc.). I
also decided the way to create all the documentation of the project, I was important part in
defining how the developers should coordinate themselves and I was the responsible of the
planning of all the MM load processes.
9) From March 2021, working in Crystal (previously Clinsights) project in pharmaceutical
Boehringer Ingelheim. Here I have been in two different developer teams where I have always
been the Data Arquitect. My main tasks have been related to fix the issues found in Oracle
Database, PowerCenter and Tableau reports from the functional requirement specifications
described in IBM DOORS. Also I have participated in deployments(of Database objects creating
SQL scripts or Power Center objects creating PwC labels, fillings also the GxP SAP necessary
technical documentation) and I do the daily task or reviewing the PowerCenter database load
process (informing business users and solution architects about the issues found, possible
solutions and taking care of any ServiceNow Incident that could be created).
Out of my assigned tasks, I have also proactively in several tasks, some of them are the next:
backlog tasks estimations(creating a process where I decided aspects to be estimated, people
necessary to estimate them, analyzing all database and PowerCenter tasks and coordinating all
the process), technical documentation (creating script templates, technical guides, on-boarding
documents …), managing on-boarding and following-up any new person inside my team (of any
company, not only from my company, currently 13 people in total), reviewing technical and
organizational aspects of the Scrum methodology process (we use JIRA and Confluence) of my
team (and sending emails with issues found to be solved) or participating in several interviews
to recruit new people for the project.
