outlets in a year with an overall impact of about 3 million INR.

tablet PCs to conduct large scale household interviews like Socio-Economic Caste Census covering over more than 12 million respondents. Data
capture software includes platforms like Confirmit, CsPro, SurveyET, Survey On Demand (SODA) etc.
Planning, Execution and Monitoring – Planning a research study across geographies, resource mobilisation, manpower mobilisation, training of
team members, execution of the study, regular monitoring of process to ensure adherence to guidelines. Manage teams including 3 researchers and
field teams comprising over 700 field staff.
Analysis and Development of Insights – Developing detailed plans for analysis of data using SPSS, bring out valid inferences and insights from

observation. Market Share Analysis provides a realistic estimate of the soft drink market and Store Observation provides real time report on Sales
Execution in the market. Market research studies for Amnesty International used included Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Cluster Analysis
(CA) to understand factors that segregate crucial factors that influence decision making. Segmentation of respondents based on SEC criteria to
understand the preference on cuisine, ambience, service for a new restaurant with Novotel. Correlation techniques were used to understand the

Finance:. Research studies in finance have collected and analysed information on factors that influence behaviour on savings and investment
related decision making. Factor analysis explored important factors that influence the purchase of specific savings and investment instruments.
Correlation and regression techniques were used to identify the strength of the relationship between education, income, savings and investment
pattern. Demand estimation studies were conducted to estimate the demand for financial services for clients like ITC and SKS Microfinance. Some

Health: Research studies in the field of maternal and child health have shown a strong correlation between education, quality of life and health of
the mother and child. Studies on menstrual hygiene have measured and evaluated the impact of the programme on improvement in menstrual
hygiene. Studies on HIV/AIDS have identified behaviour that increases the risk of exposure to infection, based on which effective programmes have
been designed. Contingent valuation method had been used in developing a price portfolio for menstrual hygiene products and contraceptives.
Coverage evaluation studies have been successful in identifying variables that influence the immunisation and health of children. Large scale

Livelihoods and Rural Development: Evaluation studies have been designed and conducted to measure and estimate the status of progress of
rural development schemes. The progress is measured and compared to that of the planned values. Studies have been able to identify factors that
influence the success/progress/failure of the projects. Correlation and regression methods have been used in identifying the extent of impact that a
factor(s) has on the success or failure of the project. Based on the findings from the research studies, clients have initiated course correction

factor analysis, correlation and regression were used to identify and quantify the impact of different factors on incidence of child labour. Knowledge,
Attitude and Practice studies on hand wash and water treatment analysed factors that have an impact on behaviour on sanitation and hygiene.
