Guest Services
Front Desk
Our front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and can be reached by dialing “0” from your room
phone. It is our pleasure to serve you. Please feel free to contact your front desk associate with
any needs during your stay.
Guest Policies
Check-in is after 4:00 pm.
Check-out is before 12:00 pm.
(Please note that failure to check-out of the room by 12:00 pm will result in being charged for an
additional night.)
Due to the nature of our facility as part of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, there are
various restrictions applicable to our guests that may be found on our policies page at
http://www.legacyhotellouisville.com/accommodations/seminary-code-of-conduct/
Additionally, it should be known that:
As a non-smoking campus, smoking in guest rooms, conference rooms, or public spaces
within the facility is prohibited. If evidence of smoking is discovered in a guest room,
the guest will be charged a $150 cleaning fee to return the room to “smoke-free” status.
As an alcohol-free campus, alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
As an on-campus guest, please be aware of and abide by the Community Standards of
Southern Seminary. These include, but are not limited to:
o Respect for persons and personal safety.
o Respect for seminary, private, and public property.
Cooking and heating appliances of any kind are not permitted in guest rooms.
Pets of any kind are not permitted in guest rooms.
If evidence of theft, damage, or disrespect for Legacy Hotel property is discovered, the
guest(s) deemed responsible will be billed for the reasonable cost of any repair,
replacement, or special cleaning needed to return the room to its original condition.

Internet Access—Wireless
o Enable wireless Internet connection.
o Select the router SBTS_OpenWiFi.
o Open browser.
o Provide email address when prompted.

o For local calls, dial “9,” then the number.
o For long-distance calls, please use a collect calling service such as 1-800-Collect.
Parking
Parking is reserved for Legacy Hotel guests in the spaces directly in front of the building. Please
display the complimentary parking permit received at check-in on the dashboard of your
vehicle when you are parked on campus.
Legacy Convenience Shop and Coffee Service
A convenient shop is provided in the lobby containing snacks, beverages, medicines, and other
miscellaneous items for purchase, as well as complimentary coffee and other hot beverages.
Ice Machines
Ice machines are located on both the 2nd and 3rd floors near the north exits.
Transportation
Contact the front desk for information on scheduling and availability for transportation. Please
allow us 24 hours’ notice to arrange transportation.
To/From the Louisville International Airport
Round trip: $55
One way: $35
Local transportation service may be provided with a day’s notice. Please contact the
front desk for rates and availability.
Baby Beds
A limited number of portable cribs are available at a charge of $10 per night. For more
information, please dial “0” and speak to a Legacy associate.
Rollaway
A limited number of rollaway beds are available at a charge of $10 per night. For more
information, please dial “0” and speak to a Legacy associate.
Housekeeping
Rooms are generally serviced between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. If you discover a need after your
room has been serviced, please contact the front desk. If you have the privacy tassel on your
door, your room will not be serviced.
Mailing
Letters can be mailed from the front desk or taken to the on-campus post office, 5th & Broadway.
Newspapers
Complimentary copies of USA Today and The Towers are available in the lobby and in displays
on the second and third floors. One daily copy of the Wall Street Journal and Louisville Courier-
Journal are available to read in the lobby, but please do not remove them.
Business Services
Computers with Internet and printing capability are available complimentary for use in
the lobby.
Public copy machines are located in the Honeycutt Campus Center outside of 5th &
Broadway, at the rate of 15 cents per page.
For larger and/or full service jobs, we recommend guests contact our on-campus
Production Services located in 5th & Broadway. (502) 897-4214 production

Faxes may be sent through the front desk. Incoming faxes should be sent to (502) 897-
4230 and picked up at the front desk.

Campus Services
Health and Recreation Center
As a Legacy guest, you are welcome to complimentary use of the Health and Recreation Center,
located in the Honeycutt Campus Center. Check with the front desk concerning access and
hours of operation. Please note that one piece swimsuits are required for ladies and trunks are
required for men in the swimming pool area.
Dining
The seminary campus has its own dining services, managed by Pioneer College Catering. On-
campus options include:
The Dining Hall, a cafeteria-style buffet serving a variety of breakfast, lunch, and
dinner choices, located in the Honeycutt Campus Center. Hours vary seasonally. Check
with the front desk or call extension 4415.
Founders’ Café, serving pastries, smoothies, bagels, sandwiches, pizza, Starbucks®
coffee, and more. Hours vary seasonally. Check with the front desk or call extension
4003. You will receive a discount with your room key.
Delivery is available 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a $5 delivery fee.
Credit card only. Call extension 4016.
Information on catering for meetings or campus events is available through our sales
department at extension 4567.
5th
& Broadway
5th & Broadway, also located in the Honeycutt Campus Center, is our on-campus convenience
store, post office, and print center. The store carries a broad selection of items including office
supplies, snacks, and seminary gifts and logo apparel. Hours vary seasonally. Check with the
front desk or call extension 4212.
Production Services
Production Services, located in 5th & Broadway, is eager to help you with your personal,
professional, and church copy and print needs. They can produce high quality bulletins,
posters, and brochures for your church and help you get organized by binding your notes for
class. Production Services’ 24-hour turnaround, competitive prices, and high quality products
make them a great choice for your copy and print needs. Stop by and speak with a Production
Services specialist to learn more or call extension 4214.
Post Office
The Post Office is located in 5th & Broadway and is a contract station of the United States Postal
Service, allowing you to ship both domestic and international packages from campus. You may
also purchase stamps, money orders, and shipping supplies.
Edgar’s
Edgar’s, a unique emporium of quality clothing and accessories, is located in the Honeycutt
Campus Center across from Founders’ Café. Named after former Southern Seminary president
E.Y. Mullins, Edgar’s carries suits and blazers, silk ties, dress shirts, shaving supplies, fountain
pens, and stationary, as well as men’s and ladies’ watches and bags. Check with the front desk
for current hours of operation or call extension 3609.
Lifeway Campus Store
Lifeway Christian Resources operates the campus bookstore, which contains a wide variety of
academic and devotional books (including many titles by faculty authors), bibles, music, and
church resources. Show your room keys for a 20% discount off your purchase.
James P. Boyce Centennial Library
The James P. Boyce Centennial Library, opened in 1959 and named for Southern Seminary’s
founding president, is one of the largest theological libraries in the world, featuring over
1,000,000 items including over 400,000 volumes and an archaeological museum.
