Subject: Jacob Ciaramella

From: Dr. Roger Saillant
The purpose of this letter is to give my highest recommendation and support for real
estate agent Mr. Jacob Ciaramella.
I have hired hundreds of people during my career from scientists to day care teachers to
do specific jobs. I look for the following traits: honesty, directness, professional
knowledge, communication skills, and high energy. Mr. Ciaramella clearly fits these
characteristics profile for what is best suited for real estate: honesty, directness,
professional knowledge, and good communication skills. When I have seen these traits in
the people I have hired, they always are successful.
Although Mr. Ciaramella is young and learning the business, he has already distinguished
himself and differentiated himself from others who are much older and have more
experience because of his determination, his tactfulness, and his ability to deliver. We
have had a property on our books for over fifteen years, hundreds of miles away from our
home. During that time three different realtors have tried to sell the property and the best
they could do was to bring two offers of land contracts both of which were not what we
wanted and, although we settled in both instances, the contracts ultimately failed without
final sale of the property. The buyers were not suitably qualified. What we gained were
several years of payments and multiple years of deterioration of the property. Most
recently the realtor of record held the property in her portfolio for a year without a single
offer. At the end of that contract we were looking for another broker and a fresher
outlook.
Mr. Ciaramella overheard a conversation I was having with another person about the sale
of the property and politely approached me and offered me his business card. I spoke to
him about his qualifications, verified his credentials with the owner of his company, and
spoke to the person who was his direct supervisor at the time in his full time place of
work. I was impressed by how well respected and proactive he was. My final decision
was made when I discussed the idea of contracting him with my wife, Mary Lou who
has had an exceptional career as a real estate broker for over twenty five years with
Sotheby's International. She was very supportive of hiring Mr. Ciaramella.
We listed our property with him. Within less than a month he has brought two solid
offers from qualified buyers. We will close on the property in a couple of weeks. He was
polite, kept us updated on his progress with phone calls and e-mails, and negotiated well
on our behalf. I would make him our listing agent without hesitation in the future.
