embarkerd on a campaign to
clean and cre ate an awerness
about the dangers of the
illegal dumping sites which
mushroomed all over on
every open space in Driziek
Proper and Driziek Ext 2 in
orange farm. Whilst cleaning
the open spaces, we presented
the business opportunities
involved in sorting, collecting
and selling recyclable
material
The recyclables that we buy
include: PET plastic bottles,
HD (milk plastic bottles),
glass bottles, boxes, white and
mixed paper such as
magazines and newspaper,
returnable bottles, plastic, PP-
scrap buckets etc

2. SIDINGULWAZI HOLDINGS COOPERATIVE
has fused RECYCLING AND AGRICULTURE
Most of the spaces were turned into small
communal food gardens that are mantained by
local community members who had grouped
themseleves into Co Operatives.
And one converted into recreational facility.
We play a secreteriat role and linking them with
the sponsors.
They are also running their small
recycling businesses and they sell the recyclable
materials to our Depot which is just a walking
distance from their farming area
