Minto Communities Ranks Best in Palm Beach market, Third Nationwide
for Overall Customer Satisfaction
September 8, 2008
Coconut Creek, FL.  September 8, 2008
Homebuyers have spoken. Minto Communities ranks highest in the Palm Beach market and third nationwide for overall customer
satisfaction among newhome builders, according to J.D. Power and Associates 2008 NewHome Builder Customer Satisfaction
Study.
What's more, in separate studies evaluating quality and design, Minto Communities also ranked highest in the Palm Beach market for
its superblybuilt homes and innovative, fresh new designs.
"Individually any of these achievements would be a source of great pride," said Jim Traxinger, Executive Vice President of Minto
Communities. "But accomplishing all four is extraordinary."
For its study, J.D. Power and Associates surveyed nearly 51,000 homebuyers nationwide asking them to evaluate both private and
publiclyowned builders in 33 of the nation's largest housing markets on key satisfaction measures.  Survey respondents are
identified as individuals who have purchased a new, singlefamily home from a newhome builder and lived in their home for 4 to 18
months.
Builders are evaluated on a 1,000point scale and ranked according to their performance. To qualify, all builders were required to
have 125 or more closings in 2007.
In overall customer satisfaction for the Palm Beach market, which includes the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County, Minto scored
879 points on a 1,000point scale and 100 points above the national average.
In the newhome design and quality surveys, Minto again took first place, scoring 860 and 887 points respectively. Both indices
measure consumer experience with regard to floor plans, architectural design and product integrity.
Overall, consumers said Minto offered the best value, service and homes of any other builder in the Palm Beaches and Treasure
coast.
"These results reflect the collective effort, commitment and values of all Minto employees," Traxinger said. "We work tirelessly to meet
our homeowners' highest expectations because we care. It's not always easy but, as the results show, it's certainly rewarding. When
our customers are happy, so are we."
