1. Changes in Rader Clinic operational hours to increase
staff effectiveness, improve patient care

The key to our first-class patient care is a professionally-developed work force.
We believe reinvesting in our people is vital to realizing our potential as a High
Reliability Organization (HRO). To help us grow, we are making some changes to
better serve patients. Beginning June 1, Rader Clinic will:
* Add additional clinical hours per year for patients to be seen.
* Be closed for only five training holidays: Christmas (Dec. 24), Thanksgiving
(Nov. 27), Memorial Day (May 22), 4th of July (July 3) and Labor Day (Sept. 4)
rather than nine days as in the past; this means we will be open an additional 32
hours to serve patients unable to seek treatment during normal business hours.
* Add 25 effective training hours to our schedule, ensuring our staff are confident,
competent, trusted and engaged professionals.
* Close the first Wednesday of each month, February through November. The
first closure will be Wednesday, June 3.
Our priorities have not changed: Ensure safety, promote health and build
resilience. These changes will allow us to further enhance our responsiveness and
reliability of health services.
We are proud of our legendary customer service, delivered by a well-developed
work force and continually strive to be your first choice of care.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue to communicate key information as
