1-160 MW range. The MARIM steam turbine series covers turbine generator sets, ranging from 1 to 10
MW. This proven steam turbine design is established in many applications, from sugar and paper
industries to geothermal power generation with references in various countries. MAN Turbomachinery
India Pvt. Ltd operates as a subsidiary of MAN Diesel & Turbo SE.
Present roles and responsibility
Design and preparation of manufacturing drawings like turbine casings, rotor shaft, blades and
diaphragm, base plate (oil reservoir ) by using Cre-o.
Preparation of Turbine Layout Drawings.
Modeling and assemblage of components by using CAD tools like Cre-o and AUTO CAD.
Technical Data and Referral Drawings Collections.
Preparation of contractual drawings like General arrangement, foundation and power house
drawings.
Theoretical calculations of oil quantity requirements etc.
Creation of SAP code for a particular components and assemblies.
Preparation of Bill of Material.
Responsible for project documentation.
Preparation pipe line routing drawings.
Reverse-Engineering work related to Turbine components.
PROJECTS HANDLED
PROJECT 1:
Client : TDPS. Indonesia.
Capacity : 1250 kW.
This was my first project handled with the guidance my senior colleagues. This was a Bleed
condensing type Steam Turbine and was involved in the complete Modeling, Assembling and
Drafting of all the turbine components.
PROJECT 2:
Client : Chhattisgrh Distilleries ltd. Raipur.
Capacity : 3400 kW.
This was a newly designed and developed Straight Back Pressure Reaction type Steam Turbine and
was involved in the complete Modeling, Assembling and Drafting of all the turbine components.
