InternationalTropical PeatlandsCenter (ITPC) • 2’080,000 hectares / 2º in extension; • 40K persons living inside the PA; • 150K persons living in its Buffer Zone; • Around 2,200 MT of fish/year extracted // Main market: Iquitos, 420K inhabitants; • Successful sustainable management experiencie: paiche, arahuana, taricaya; • 93.66% in optimal conservation state; • Aguajales cover 37% of PA extension.
