6. Quotes from Cheshire and Merseyside
practices.
• My practice had the privilege of being shown this innovative risk tool which brings up so much useful
information at a glance and click of the key . It’s going to transform how we monitor and manage those
current and impending hypertensives at our practice . User friendly and easy to use for clinical and non
clinical staff . It has already prompted a flurry of chronic disease action at our practice .
(GP. Liverpool)
• I love this bp@home monitoring approach, the digital enablers [BPQI and AccuRX floreys] have made it
really easy for me to target support to patients with raised blood pressure.
(GP. Wirral)
• Wow! To say that I’m excited by this tool is understatement. It is so useful to be able to monitor as a
practice our management of BP. Exactly what is needed!
(GP. Knowsley)
• This approach is great , we need this across all of our long term conditions.
(Nurse Practitioner, Sefton)
• The template contains loads of useful resources that gives me the confidence to know I am delivering the
best care for my patients, and lets me know when I need to escalate to the GP’s.
(HCA. Warrington)
7. Local examples
• Pre-AccuRx (baseline) - data from one Wirral PCN has shown 154 new Hypertensives in the last 3
months.
