This document provides examples of timetables for two different master's programs, as well as tips and tools for time management, organization, and planning. It includes example weekly schedules for an MSc in Management Science and Finance and an MA in Fashion Marketing and Branding. It also discusses considering time management apps, organizing class materials, planning assignments, and keeping an activity log for time management. Students are assigned homework to fill out the activity log and familiarize themselves with course readings.
5. What to consider in your app
feedback…
§ What does the app do?
§ How does it work?
§ Positive vs. negative attributes
– Is it easy to use?
– Is it reliable?
– What kind of information does it store?
– How does it help you plan/organise?
6. Discussion: Organisation and
Planning
§ What are some ways you organise your
class materials?
§ Can you recommend any strategies that
have been particularly helpful for you in the
past?
§ Have you even been unsuccessful in your
attempt to plan your work/assignments?
9. Homework
§ Download and fill in the Activity Log from the
e-Folio site.
§ Keep a record of all the events of a typical day
using the activity log. Bring this with you to
your advising session.
§ You may wish to re-watch this week’s vidcast.
§ Familiarise yourself with the 3 articles for your
subject area, found on e-Folio. We will use
these next week.
