To accurately measure your body shape, take measurements in your underwear in natural daylight with someone to assist for accuracy. Measure your chest by placing the tape at the widest part of your forehead between your eyebrows and hairline. Measure your waist by placing the tape around your natural waist, which sits above your belly button. Measure your hips by placing the tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks.

best to do this in your underwear
(ideally nude/neutral coloured) and in
natural daylight. In doing so you
avoid any distortion by colours or
shadows.
It is also ideal if you have someone
you trust with you to assist with the
measuring, as that way you can
ensure accuracy.

PLACE THE TAPE
MEASURE AT THE
WIDEST PART OF YOUR
FOREHEAD BETWEEN
YOUR EYEBROWS AND
YOUR HAIRLINE
ALLOW THE TAPE
MEASURE TO BE ON THE
SKIN
NOW RECORD YOUR
MEASUREMENT.

4. STEP 2
WAIST
Now measure the waist. Stand up straight.
Place the tape measure around your
natural waist, which sits above your belly
button. If you are unsure, run your hands
down your ribs
and you should find your waist in the dip
below that, OR If you bend to the side the
crease that forms, is your natural waistline.
Make sure you are natural and avoid
sucking in your stomach as instinctively
can often happen, otherwise you will get a
false measurement

5. STEP 3
HIPS
Keep your feet together
and measure the the
circumference of your hips.
which is the widest part
point of your hips, at one
hip and wrap the tape
measure around your rear,
around the other hip, and
back to where you started.
Make sure the tape is over
the largest part of your
buttocks.
