Cover Letter
I am a recent graduate from Drexel University with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.
Growing up I always had a strong passion for science and technology and so the moment I discovered
the concept of global warming and environmental science in high school, I knew this was the field I
wanted to be in.
The Biodiversity, Ecology and Environmental Science (BEES) department at Drexel enabled me to hone
my skills and focus my scope of interest. My strongest passions are in the areasof: conservation biology,
sustainable development and urban environmental planning. I believe that there is an efficient way for
mankind to meet its energy, food and recreational needs while still being conscious of their impacts on
the environment and ecosystem. Over my internships and classes I have familiarized myself with various
software programs such as: GIS, Revit, AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite.
I have been a part of several volunteer and academic clubs, holding leadership roles in many such as
President of the Junior Achievement Club (2009-10), President, Drexel African Students Association
(2014-16), Member, Drexel University Diversity Council (2015-16). Thus, I am very adept at working
both in independent positions and as part of a team. I am a quick learner and a very driven and passionate
worker and I hope I can get the opportunity to work and grow with your company.
Sincerely,
Immanuel Anosike.
