To Whom It May Concern,
I, Yanisa Chuchotthavorn, have been a student of Ms. Iman Safwat for the past two years
while I was a student of Arabic and International Relations at the University of St Andrews, UK.
During that time, I am both amazed by her skills and honoured to have the opportunity to be both
her student and her friend.
Ms. Safwat is a pleasure for any students to have. Learning Arabic has never been an easy
feat but Ms. Safwat quality and skills made my journey into Arabic a much pleasurable one.
She is punctual with her classes and yet more than willing to go the extra mile to help. She is
patience and detail oriented, making sure that her students understand the lesson rather than
rushing through points. Her command of English is more than sufficient to conduct her classes with
international students successfully. I have had lessons with Ms. Safwat in both Modern Standard
Arabic and Classical Arabic and she has proved to be more than capable in explaining her knowledge
of Arabic in a clear and simple manner.
Furthermore, her teaching ability goes hand in hand with her excellent interpersonal skills.
She is supportive and always give good encouragement, a crucial support needed for students faced
with the daunting task of mastering Arabic.
Suffice to say, Ms. Safwat possesses both the personal and academic skills needed for her
employment. It has been a pleasure to have her as my teacher and it is my highest hope that other
students will be given the same opportunity to have her as theirs.
Sincerely,
Yanisa Chuchotthavorn
