Hydrocut Mountain Bike Trails, Waterloo, Ontario 2001 - 2014
• Responsible for the management and maintenance of the MTB park and it’s 25 km trail network
• Planned and led complex projects, delegated tasks, supervised the quality of work and progress
• Prepared and coordinated the communications materials, including the website
( http://hydrocut.ca/ ), trail maps, trail signage and information kiosks
• Successfully promoted membership, volunteering and sponsorship involvement

Accomplishments:
• Conceptualized and created the Hydrocut Mountain Bike Trails park; a highly renowned prime
quality trail network, valued tourist destination, which attracts 500+ users daily
• Laid-out and built trails in an environmentally sustainable and erosion safe way, with minimal
impact on the surrounding natural environment, while greatly reducing the maintenance
requirements
• Initiated and facilitated the signing of an unprecedented legal Stewardship Agreement between
the Region of Waterloo (the landowner) and the Waterloo Cycling Club (the stakeholder)
• In 2013-2016 the Hydocut was chosen by the Singletracks.com as the best mountain bike trails
in Ontario, and in 2017 was ranked the 27th in the world

• Named Eastern Trail Ambassador in 2012 by the IMBA (International Mountain Bike
Association) Canada
• Most notable XC mountain bike racing results: 2005/2009 Master Expert Ontario Champion
