24th AnnualBusinessAppreciation Event/Stafford VA.
The 2015 Stafford Business of the Year has a story-line that is familiar to manyin
Stafford County. Thestory goes like this –After giving years of service to the
Marine Corps, protecting our country in foreign landsand having worked hard,
trained hard and preparing to overcome challenges – it is time to leave the corps
and embarkon other challenges. How best can this experience and work ethic be
put to work in another way, a profitable way? That’show many businesses get
started in Stafford County. And the county and the community is so well served by
the men and women of the Marine Corps that become the entrepreneurs of
Stafford.
In January2013 - Two Marines and their wives decided to open their own business
– once again serving the children of our community. This team is hard working –
not only for themselves and for the community where they have chosen to call
home. Theyare building something in Stafford, growing and giving back to the
community in all sorts of ways.
This business hasreceived several nominationsand commendationsfrom
Fredericksburg Parents Magazine, NationalNightOutand Stafford Parks and
Recreation. They participate and contribute to Kids Expos, The Great Train Race,
Hartwood Days and the Stafford Agricultural Fair. Although they are a small
business with limited fundsthey have donated, last year alone, more than $10,000
in services and monetary donations.

2. This companyprovides a “SpecialNeeds Family Fun Night” monthly – exclusively
opening their facility to children and families with autism partnering with Paragon
Autism Services to reach out to these families.
Just last month they announcedtheir expansion and are doubling their square
footage and are now hiring new staff, to provide even more FUN and Exercise for
the youth in our region. Today Stafford EDA congratulationsKD’z Kidz World –
Indoor BounceHouse- JohnnyKline and Ian Denny, their wives and their team –
and presents them with the 2015 Stafford Business of the Year Award.
