A project of the University of Maryland Extension, HoCoWSA seeks to raise community awareness and move citizens to take action toward reducing pollution and abating excessive stormwater flow. HoCoWSA conducts a range of events and activities to promote the health of the various Howard County watersheds. These include educating and advising property owners, such as residents, businesses, churches, and others, on how to reduce the volume of stormwater runoff and the amount of pollution it causes.
