This project has been produced and co-ordinated by the Museo de América with the
collaboration of its Friends Association (ADAMA) and with funds of the Spanish
Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports.

Created in 1941
The Museum’s collection is composed of more than 25.000 objects, pre-
Columbian, ethnographic and colonial, from Alaska to
Tierra de Fuego.
It shows the evolution of the different American cultures
through more than 12.000 years of History.
4. What is Migrate is Culture?
It is a collaborative and
multidisciplinary project which started
in 2012 and shows the diversity and
cultural enrichment that migration
produces in all societies.
It includes past and present, and all the
aspects of culture.
Participants can upload to the web their
videos, pictures and stories about their
migratory experience.
